Come on lets play…I’ll start…

My weekend? I actually got a lot done…despite my rocky start. If you haven’t noticed I was able to update the website galleries in between proofing. Talk about multi-tasking! Take a peek. I think you will like. Added a few quotes here and there. Don’t forget about the quote page up above. Tons of quotes…I got about 5 galleries up (I can’t believe that’s it )only 15 more to go. There is always tomorrow- right? At least everyone is now under the 2 week mark and my goal is to get back to the week mark asap.

My rocky start to my weekend? I got a early Saturday am phone call from someone who thought they heard my daughters name on their good ole’ police scanner. Since she was spending the night at one of her girlfriends I was a bit frantic since it was a 911 call. After a few phone calls of my own while I was hyperventilating trying to decide if I should just take off for the hospital I finally got a hold of my little Miss. Bless her heart she knew how upset I was so she got up at 4:30 (AM!!) from her friends to come home just so that I could SEE she was fine. It turns out her name was “very similar” to whomever actually was in trouble and named on the scanner. BTW my BABY turned TWENTY today!!! Unbelievable!!! Happy Birthday Miss Caitlin. I am so proud of the young woman you have become Love You!!

What else did I do??? Went to dinner Friday evening-I think it was Friday? Eazy Street-gotta love those skins!!! And I went to the Farmers Market Saturday morning and got some yummy fresh veggies and FRUIT!! Oh and some ROASTED corn on the cob! Too yummy! Before we know it the time for Framers Market will be over…where has our summer gone?

Today take a moment to remember it is the little things that make life so BIG!

Well it turns out that a couple things were conflicting with our date for the Intimate Sessions to be held at the Best Western…

New date is Friday, September 19th. We MAY have some session times for Saturday AM.

I wanted to share one of the conflicts…I NEVER have the time to cook anymore and my daughter Caitlin came upon a wonderful solution Your Supper Solution. August was our first month to participate but we are already signed up for September and the 12th of September was the evening to assemble our meals…The food is YUMMY-so much better than fast food. AND it is absolutely wonderful that ALL of the shopping and prep work is done for you!!! You can’t beat the price either! Check it out and maybe I will see you there too!

I seem to have NONE…time that is. I don’t manage to get any proofing or editing done during the week anymore. When I am in the studio during the day I am either shooting sessions, answering the phone or sorting orders even with Jennifer “hanging out” and me putting HER to work!!! Early in the AM I am placing orders and answering emails. Come evening I am downloading memory cards from the sessions of that day. And before you know it I am off to bed because I am exhausted! Don’t get me wrong. I am not complaining that I am so busy..I am apologizing to you that things are taking a little longer than they had in the past. Many of you have been with me since I started out in my home and your proofs were available within a few days at the most and sometimes the SAME DAY!!! I am trying to become more organized and stream lined while at the same time continuing to provide your personalized service that you are also used to! I love you guys! You become more to me than a client but friends. We stop and chat when I see you at Wal Mart or as the case yesterday-nice seeing you Karen at EZ Street-don’t they make the BEST potato skins?

Just a reminder when you see your images online they are completely ready for you to order. All editing touch ups, special effects and cropping have been done. You also get to see a black and white version of every proof. I also put together the slide show for you to share with family and friends. A LOT goes into this whole process. I know that some photographers shoot ‘em and load ‘em up as they are and it still takes a couple of weeks to see your proofs. I am considering that option as busy as I have become but at this point I still prefer for you to see the finished product. I am doing my best and I appreciate your patience. I have sessions all day Saturday but come Sunday and Monday I will be doing nothing but editing and proofing. I know that you can’t wait to see them. I promise I am doing my best.

Now for a funny little share…You know EVERY kid has done it, sorry Dad I just had to share BUT honestly aren’t those eyes AMAZING!!!!
