A couple of announcements….

Wednesday, July 22nd I will be out of the studio.  Thursday, July 23rd I will be in and out of the studio.  ’Tis the season… seniors that is.   We typically do studio, and at least one outdoors location with seniors.  Since it is just me, myself and I- I have to close shop when I go on location.  I apologize for any inconvenience.  Trying to figure out if there are some changes that need to be made.  Possibly appointment only with a set walk in “pick up” day such as Wednesday???  Everything else will be by appointment?  Just one  day a week set aside that you may stop in to pick up your order or to place an order etc.  I will figure it out.  :)   Thank you all for your patience.

Just a peek….

Today was the most perfect day for an engagement session.  NO wind!  How often do we get have that in Kansas??  Loved it!!!  And it gets even better- even though our temperatures are soaring the sun wasn’t to be seen!!  Overcast!!!  No wind and overcast makes for wonderful outdoors sessions.  Think of it…we may have a little squinting because it is still may be a little bright out BUT no squinting from the sun and no shadows to deal with!!!  AND no wind blown hair!!! LOVE, LOVE it!!!  Anyway, here you go- a peek at Sara and Charles- who had the benefit of this perfect summer day for their engagement session…

Now a little about my “Summer Break”…

For the past 2 weeks I have been orienting for a part time position at Great Bend Regional Hospital. Many of you know that my background includes being a Labor & Delivery nurse. With the arrival of our new hospital I had this burning desire to be a “nurse” again. Not just any nurse but a L&D nurse in a brand new beautiful facility. I gave it lots of thought. Decisiveness is NOT one of my strong points and this decision was especially difficult. Some days I thought “Yea, I REALLY want to do this and I can do this.” Other days I thought “No Way, what was I thinking I can’t juggle BOTH my business AND a part time job!!”, yet other days I thought “Why do I want to try and juggle TWO jobs.  What am I thinking??????”… in the end I decided to give it a try. I never wanted to inconvenience my clients or put my business on the back burner in any way. If you were inconvenienced at all- for this I apologize. This is not something I needed to do but that in the end I decided I wanted to do. Being back here at the studio today I feel blessed that I have such a choice. I have a thriving business with wonderful clients that mean so much to me and another profession that allows me to witness miracles. Thank you for all of your patience in getting through these last two weeks. For now my plans are to work Mondays at Great Bend Regional Hospital since the studio has always been closed on Mondays and an occasional Saturday or Sunday. We will see how it goes. The jury is still out on how I will be able to juggle and switch gears. First and foremost my clients and my business will be my priority since my position there is a very part time one.

Again THANK YOU for your patience and understanding…

Now HURRY!!!  Use your coupon code!!!  It expires Friday night!   IF you don’t have a current gallery you may purchase a gift certificate for yourself to utilize the savings at a later time.  ;)
