Earlier today I “verified” my Hotmail account.  DON’T do this!!!!  My son says that I am the ONLY one that would fall for this.  Anyway it allowed them to hack into my HOT MAIL account and send out an email saying that I was in England STARVING and to please send money.  Wrong!!!!!  I apologize.  Now I can’t even send out an email telling everyone it was fake.  I have reached my limit for sending emails today.  I am so sorry guys!  You really have to be careful these days…

No clothing changes!
No limit to poses or combinations of people in pose within your 20 minute session time! You would really be suprised what we can get done in 20 minutes!! You will have plenty to choose from. I will have a timer and stick to it so that we don’t fall behind on our times.
Mottled charcoal and gray backdrop. This will help you plan your wardrobe for the day. I think black would look great…any style of black top with khaki’s on the bottom or denim.  Red would look great to if you want more of a “holiday look”.  Just depends on what look you are going for.  These will work perfect for Holiday cards and gifts with the holiday season quickly approaching.  The mini sessions have proven to be a favorite of kids and dad because they don’t take too long.

In error our main page has been deleted!! I had some phone calls and inquiries last week as to why I changed the site. About the 3rd phone call I figured out our error!!! I am still in the process of working things out BUT in the mean time you can access proofs by the link in the menu bar titled “Client Proofs”. You can also bookmark this direct link www.jackandjillportraits.com/store to access proofs. Our studio hours are still in limbo. For now I will be posting here on our blog days that the studio will be open for order pick ups during the upcoming week. If these days don’t work for you for order pickup etc. please don’t hesitate to call or email-we will be happy to make other arrangements. I hope to figure out something a little more consistent soon. I appreciate your patience! Many of you have asked how I like my “other job”-I really have found that I do enjoy my position at Great Bend Regional Hospital. I really enjoy being a nurse again. As I said earlier I am still trying to figure out scheduling and would like to come up with a consistent schedule for BOTH of my jobs. That is proving to be a little bit of a challenge but I am determined to make this work.

Now…I am pleased to announce that we have a date for our Fall Family Mini Sessions!!!! Check your calendar and call ASAP!! I expect session times to fill quickly. These are perfect little mini sessions about 20 minutes. We get a few proofs of the entire (single)family, a few of mom & dad, a couple of the kids. Kids are happy, dad is happy and mom is ecstatic that everything is done and she has FAMILY PICTURES!!!

This year we will be using a mottled gray backdrop. Keep this in mind for your clothing choices. I think that classic black on the top whether that be a polo, blouse, turtleneck etc. and denim or khaki on the bottom will look superb!! I would stay away from patterns for the best look. These images will be gorgeous in color and striking in black and white!!!
